Message from frustrated viewer....

Woooo.  Nothing like a little racism to get people talking.  Or should I say, nothing like a little taboo conversation about race to get folks uncomfortable.  First of all, before I return to you all with some thoughts that I'm sure are echoed by many, let me say something; the fact that I'm bringing up a very easily obtainable observation from wrestling recently has nothing to do with my urge to want to make the WWE look bad.  What I hope this does is make them truly think about the message they are sending to their fans and young kids.

I want to run down the name of the most prominent tag teams on RAW and their members real quick:
  • Kofi Kingston & R Truth
  • Darren Young & Titus O'Neil
  • Epico & Primo
  • Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara
Now, don't get me wrong, there are plenty of other tag teams.  The most popular as of late is Kane & Daniel Bryan.  But, before Vince, Stephanie, or whomever caught on that the same four tag teams above did not have to fight each other every week, they had them fight each other...every week.  And to many fans it looked as if the all African American tag teams fought each other and the Hispanic tag teams fought each other.  It posed for very awkward television.

Question is...how did this come to pass.  They create good match-ups or high potential rivaries that don't last as long as these did.  Can anyone answer that?  This has nothing to do with individuals of the same race being on a team, and it being awkward.  That happens all the time, and it did the past too.  That's not awkward.  The way the show was written as it forced these match-ups to be dragged out for weeks was a little strange.  Maybe some should just write it in the script for vince to use the N-word again, and he can really get it out of his system?  Naw, just kidding.  I like VInce.  Don't get me wrong.  What I'm getting at is that the WWE is already struggling to sell the storylines.  Let's not let ignorance to negative messages be a part of their struggle as well.

Get it to together WWE - it's been a good start that you let these fueds end, but remember that I could go on longer about this stuff!
