June 1, 2012 - Lift With Your Knees - Divinity's Blueprint

When the weight of the world gets heavy, Lift with your knees
Finances to a flat tire, no matter what your source of stress is the solution is the same. You may feel like the weight of the earth is centered right on that patch of spine between your shoulder blades. That's a heavy burden for any one person to carry no matter how strong they are or they may seem. But on thing is for certain , if you're trying to lift or carry an extra heavy thing, whatever it may be, you should lift with your knees, Literally. When the burdens of this world get to be too much you should get down on your knees and lift your burdens to the heavens and allow GOD to carry it for you.
Prayer is the answer to so many of the world's problems, it is the clear communication line with GOD. A direct line to his “phone”. In every religion prayer is present in some shape or form. It is what keeps we humans in contact with our creator. And in every religion the traditions and customs may be a little different than the last but they all serve the same purpose. Prayer plays a major role in the lives of people all over the world and has done so throughout human history. In my opinion it is one of the primary reasons that we remain civilized it holds us together, connects us, empowers us to reach for and achieve new heights.
In The Holy Bible even Jesus prayed. All the time, he prayed during his 40 day and night fast, he prayed over meals, he prayed as he was dying on the Old Rugged Cross. So if the creator of everything prays, then it must be pretty important. No words can truly describe the power of prayer. Not even the countless stories of miracles brought about through sincere and often intense prayer. Intense prayers such as intercessory prayer is one of the best ways to get directly to the front of the call line of 1-800-Jesus. We could all use pointers and help in the area of Prayer.
One thing that I believe is misunderstood about prayer or just seemingly inconceivable to the human brain, but prayer transcends religion. There are no boundaries in prayer just as there are no boundaries with The Living God. Many people seem to have their own set of artificial rules when praying, things you shouldn't say or do because you're praying. But my take on the subject is different to say the least. I mean think about it, you're in the presence of God Almighty, he knows who you are, what you're thinking, what you've been doing, and what you're about to do, so why should I have to attempt to be something that I'm not? He knows me by name, he knew me before my parents did. And My Heavenly Father tells me to come as I am and give all of my burdens and worries to him, so that's what I do.
Prayer changes things, Truly. And it is understood my THE ALMIGHTY GOD in any language imaginable. It's amazing, simply and truly amazing. Prayer has the God Given power to save lives. Marriages, relationships, friendships, families, and anything your heart may desire according to God's will. The family that prays together stays together is an old adage used to describe the bonds that family prayer places in homes and marriages.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that Prayer can lift that burden that you have, that weight on your back. Drop to your knees and take it to the Lord in Prayer. Just as Jesus and his Holy Word instructs us to. You don't have to carry your burdens, just let him do it for you. He is more than willing, he is able, and he is longing to carry them for you. All you need to do is ask him. So instead of walking around weighed down with the burdens of the world on your back, use your knees to lift it all up to God. Our Heavenly Father wants you to give it to him. He wants to do more than just help you carry that load, he wants to do it for you. And all he wants in return is for you to trust, love, and obey him.
